PORTFOLIO > Shutters

The artwork is intended to be hung in a window so it can be viewed from either the outside or the inside of the room. When viewed from the outside the piece appears to simply be a white-framed mirror. From inside, when the slats are opened, the viewer looks through the one-way mirror to activity outside. There is no inside text.

The bold text on every slat reads:

*"They sat me down and demanded to know if my brother has touched me
inappropriately."*

Background text on every slat reads:

"DEMANDED TO KNOW DEMANDED TO KNOW" (repeats)
